We offer videoing for Instructional DVDs,
tournaments, seminars and other events. Here are some things to
consider: |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Costs
This is most likely the biggest consideration
you need to take into account. With producing a DVD for your
school or customers there are several costs. We have listed a
few: travel, accommodations, videoing (includes editing and 1 Master
copy), materials, packaging, shipping and more. When we
prepare a quote we ensure to cover all area so there are no hidden
fees.

Location When
buying real estate you have probably heard its all about location,
location, location. Well, when filming for your DVD location
is just as important. Will the DVD be filmed outside? If
so video equipment may pick up dogs barking, lawnmowers,
construction noise and even wind (when extremely windy). Also
you need to consider weather. Even though the forecast may not
call for rain, do you have a backup plan? What about filming
inside? Again, noises like heavy traffic, neighbors (noises
from buildings connected to yours) and more can cause disruption.
Lighting is important as well when dealing with gymnasiums and
ballrooms.

Content What
do you want to include on your DVDs? For Instructional DVDs
you may want to have slow motion, multiple angles, commentary or
more. Tournament DVDs for example may have highlights of
preliminaries and full coverage of the finals. You may be
hosting a special seminar and want to sell DVDs for participants.
Therefore, you may again want only highlights along with complete
parts of the seminar topic.

Quantity How
many DVDs will you need? If you are selling DVDs in your
school to students you may want to order a large quantity and sell
them as students join. For tournaments or seminars you might
consider taking pre-orders the day of the event or order a certain
number and sell. Finally, videoing fees include editing and
one (1) Master copy which allows you to make additional copies
saving you money!

|
Timeframe When
considering timeframe there are two areas to consider. First,
is when do you want to film your DVD? If you are wanting to
film an event like a tournament or seminar then figuring out when to
film is easy. Secondly, what is the turn around time from
filming to shipping of your product. If you choose to take
pre-orders it is important to keep in mind the timeframe.
